Queue the super ominous and suspenseful music because Mopar has done what we’ve all been waiting for. The “Hellcrate” 6.2L Supercharged Crate Hemi was release at exactly 4:26pm October 31, 2017 at the SEMA Sohw. It is labeled as the first 707hp, factory crate engine kit on the market. Here’s the quick and dirty about what side dishes you get with your HUGE meal.

Mopar’s Hellcat crate engine comes with harness, PCM, accelerator pedal, and sensors. Heat exchangers, coolant transfer pump, and fuel system are not included.

This kit has been optimized for use with a Tremec 6-speed Magnum Kit and is designed for chassis 1975 and older.

“Never before has a supercharged, factory-direct 707-horsepower crate engine kit been offered,” said Pietro Gorlier, Head of Parts and Service (Mopar), FCA. “This ultimate powertrain option fits the needs of owners and fans who demand iconic performance.”

This power plant comes with a three-year, unlimited-mile warrantee when the two following part numbers are purchased together. The engine assembly (part number 68303089AA) and the engine kit (part number 77072452AB) have an MSRP of $19,530 and $2,195 respectfully.

Customers who’ve purchased this firepower will receive it in a Pandora’s Box of sorts which bares the Hellcrate logo and contains information on installation tips and tricks as well as requirements.
