Cadillac adds ATS Coupe to entry-level menu
Plymouth, MI - - Low, wide and sporty, the 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe features all-new body work and a wider track that improves steering feel and response.
Providing power in base models is a 2.0-liter turbocharged Ecotec I-4 engine making 272-hp and 295 lb-ft of torque on 18 pounds of boost to outmuscle the BMW 428i coupe's 2.0-liter turbo and its 240-hp and 255 lb-ft ratings. This rear-wheel drive version can be mated to an optional 6-speed Tremec TR-3160 (M3L) manual transmission

Additional features include the use of low-friction oil, low-friction seals and bearings, as well as large, high-capacity synchronizers that contribute to low shift efforts and shifter travel. All of the gears are hard-finished, which contributes to transmission’s refined feel and low noise. The case of the TR-3160 is made of lightweight aluminum, which contributes to the ATS’s low curb weight.
